Advertised as the strongest beer produced in Belgium, the Scaldis comes in at a wine like 12%. It has a strong alcoholic scent but the taste itself masks the alcohol quite well. A fairly mellow taste and deceptively light. Today the Lakers beat Houston, we beat our opponents (basketball league), I get to drink this fairly sophisticated beer to end my Belgium week; all would seem perfect except for the fact that I screwed-up my knee during the first 4 minutes of our game...
