Another solid Karl Strauss beer. Not sure why some people don't like this one either but I think its quite tasty. Simple, light, to the point - very much like a pale ale with less hops. A good balanced beer.
Woodie Gold is truly an underappreciated beer. It is really close to a true Pilsner. It is not as skunky as a Pilsner, so therefore it has the taste without the afterbite of a Pilsner. But then again, please don't drink this beer because it will raise the price of it. Much like the STUPID movie "Sideways" did for Pinot Noir. Of which I drink no more!!!!!
