Another German "Munich Helles Lager", this Hofbräu is not even close to the quality of yesterday's Spaten. A little lighter in flavor and color, it lacks and positive taste notes and actually has a nasty metallic tinge. I'd stay away from this one - kind of hard to finish. Maybe it is just not my type of beer or I got a funky one?!

You got a funky one. Just finished off a 1/4 barrel and this bier was a party pleaser again! Used this and Paulaner Octoberfest for my 10/10/10 party and both stood up nicely for a party of 50 attendees.
