This pours a dark brown almost black color with a thick fuzzy head that lingers for awhile. Fairly smooth and light for a porter but has a bitter kick that stays in all areas of your mouth. I much prefer the Anchor Steam over this Anchor Porter but if you like porter, this is a must try!
